Some Tinder users just want you to follow them on Instagram

When I matched with Mallory Santic on Tinder, I was immediately suspicious.
She was considerably more attractive than me, and not the type of person I usually end up dating.
This isn’t unheard of, in fact it happens every once in awhile. Usually, you can tell when an account is fake. The profile bio might just be a link to a shady site. Or the photos are clearly of a famous person. That wasn’t the case with Mallory though. She seemed like a real person, she even attended the same college I did.
Fortunately, I was able to contact Mallory, and the reason she gave for swiping right was one I’d never heard before.
