Effective pass rushers are much harder to find than effective MLBs. Pass rusher in the first. LB in the 2nd (MLB or WLB depending on whose there). RB in the third.

Kuechly will be available at 12 without a doubt, and as for a pass rusher with #12, he would be a situational player if he can't unseat Clemons or Bryant at one of the End positions and that is not what you want out of a #1 pick. The best Value at #12 would be OG David DeCastro to replace Gallery or Courtney Upshaw OLB, Both are dynamic players, while DeCastro may be a pro bowl lock. Nick Perry OLB could also be a good selection.

Kuechly plays MLB, we wouldn't be looking for him to do anything that Clemons or Bryant does. 12 is a little early for a Guard but DeCastro looks like a 10 yr pro bowl type guy. I like Perry as far as upside and value. I'm not big fan of Upshaw. He was great in College but his size will be a much bigger factor in the NFL

Pete said that he wanted speed at the linebacker position. Most likely at the outside linebacker spot because those guys are responsible for covering the TE in man on man situations. Courtney is a pass rushing linebacker exclusively with lots of power but not tons of speed. Melvin Ingram would be a dream pick for seattle because he is fast, strong, scheme diverse, and has the ability to rush the passer and drop into coverage. He had 8.5 sacks and 3 INT's last year. He is more what the seahawks are looking for.

I'd like to see them resign either Leroy or the Heater. We can replace one of them via the draft but not both and hope to at least maintain a good LB corps.

Unger and Moffit are second and third rounders (miller 2nd). Bookends are first rounders. I'm just saying, get a LG in the 2nd or 3rd round. Please draft Floyd or Wright at WR! We need wideouts that can seperate and give Flynn a downfield target. Even if Rice is healthy (???) we need a 1-2 threat.

Kuechly??? REALLY? is he Ray Lewis? Is he Patrick Willis? Those are first round mike line backers, and franchise changing ones at that. Ray Ray was drafted 26th... so there is WAY more value for something other than a mike line backer at 12.... GET A PASS RUSHER PETE!

Haven't we been down that early 1st round linebacker thing with what's his name? Oh, yeah, Curry. And he was an absolutely "can't miss" prospect. I suspect we'll resign the Heater and draft a LB a bit later. I'd draft a stud DE like Ingram. You don't normally draft Guards early, but DeCastro may be the best since Hutch. He'd be hard to pass on unless you traded down a few spots for an additional pick assuming your confident he's still going to be there. Anyways, Hawks looking good.

I'm all in on Upshaw. He possesses great size and is pretty quick, and is a tackling machine. Most important, HE IS DISCIPLINED! The Anti-Aaron Curry. Guy would provide pass rush from the WLB spot and from DE on passing downs. Please be at 12 Courtney Upshaw.

I do like him but I think that DL is where it is at with us right now. We got Red back, signed Jones, and Taylor* can't wait to see what he brings..so just a edge rusher with speed and lots of it should be our #12! I say @ 12 Coples but prob not or Solid DT. I dunno where they are going to go I picked 4 players I wanted them to draft last year and they did. So it's a who knows thing with Pete and Schneider they are aggressive and go with the guys they like not us usually. 12th DL/OG*we all know who/Trade down..

But we have a few guys on the team already who should crank it up . Contract year for Clemons will help. Of course Jones. But Dexter Davis is who I keep coming back to. He's already done it but not at this level. Should know this year if he's going to make the jump.
