Is this the most well-loved candy in Washington?

Be thankful you don’t live in Oregon this Halloween because you could be getting a lot of candy corn in your trick-or-treat bag.
A candy map is ripping our country apart (that statement is 50 percent serious). More than 40,000 people were surveyed by product review site Influenster and they were asked to rank the top Halloween candy by state.
Why Halloween in Seattle got a whole lot better in 2016
The unscientific — yet rather fun — study says the number one candy in Washington state is the flavored taffy, AirHeads.
Seriously? Reese Peanut Butter Cups anyone? Snickers? Twix? No offense, AirHeads.
But perhaps more surprising is when you look at the national candy map. Do you see that? Who voted for candy corn?!
Apparently, a lot of people did. Like Oregon, just next door.
People on social media have argued that the candy map is obviously wrong because the top pick in multiple states turned out to be the highly polarizing tiny corn.
Candy corn was listed as number one in Oregon, Wyoming, Tennessee, Texas and South Carolina.
Did Influenster get it right? Could candy corn have that much of a following? Do Washingtonians love AirHeads that much?
