Seahawks Coach Pete Carroll isn’t one to talk about Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton this season. After all, he’s got other things on his mind — like football. But there is one candidate who he can get behind — Dori for president.
King Co. Sheriff says NFL is being a “bully”
“I’m not surprised one bit about the groundswell of support for you for president,” Carroll told Dori during his weekly feature on the Dori Monson Show.
“My phone is blowing up from everybody wanting to know if it’s for real. Does he have a real chance?” he said. “I just say, ‘he’s a shoo in.'”
Dori decided to run as a write-in candidate given the current caliber of candidates. There’s even a Dori for president campaign video.
And after hearing the one policy Dori is running on — he will leave everyone alone — Carroll said he knew who he was voting for.
“I wouldn’t hesitate (to endorse you),” he said. “If your name shows up on the ballot or there’s a space to write it in, you got me … you’re going to get me. I’m all for you, Dori. I’m thrilled for you. I think you can be a great leader.”
