Bellingham woman cashing in on Trump’s ‘nasty woman’ comment

Comments from Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump are paying off for a Bellingham screen printing business.
Erin Boyd, who owns Red Boots Design, says she usually does work for other local businesses. But after hearing Trump call Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton a “nasty woman” she was inspired and designed a T-Shirt with the phrase “Such a Natsy Woman” posted on her Esty page.
The result: “This time yesterday morning I had sold four T-Shirts,” she said. “And now I’ve sold hundreds.”
Boyd says most of her orders are from women who want to wear the shirts to vote in. She says she decided to slap the slogan on there because she thinks it really speaks to America and — contrary to what Trump may think — is actually empowering for women.
And who knows, after Thursday’s annual charity fundraiser, Boyd could have even more material for her clothing.
