Hillary Clinton has far out-raised her Republican opponent Donald Trump when it comes to campaign donations. And that is evident when you consider Clinton donors in Washington state.
The Puget Sound Business Journal has been analyzing presidential campaign donations from around Washington state. They constructed a list of Trump’s top donors, and now they have done the same for Clinton donors.

While Trump’s list of donors has quite a few executives (and quite a few retirees), Clinton’s list can boast the same, however, from far more notable companies — particularly from the local tech industry, and other economic drivers.
Who are Clinton donors?
For example, Erik Nordstrom, co-president of Nordstroms, donated the maximum individual donation of $2,700. Spencer Rascoff, CEO of online real estate giant Zillow did the same. As did Tableau President Adam Selipsky, and former Microsoft president Jon Shirley, and Jim Sinegal, co-founder of Costco and former CEO.
Former Washington Governor Gary Locke donated $2,700, as well has his wife Mona.
Then there are a few other notables such as Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament, or Florence Colburn, wife of “Deadliest Catch” Captain Keith Colburn.
The list goes on, and the Business Journal did a good job of rounding up a who’s who of notable Clinton donors. People connected to companies from Amazon to the Seahawks are included.
The trend of Washington companies’ engagement in the political process didn’t end at notable executives. The Business Journal also points out that employees of some of the state’s top economic drivers are among the more generous Clinton donors, including Starbucks, Microsoft, Amazon, Costco, and Boeing.
