The punchline of SNL’s skit was the reaction from president-elect Trump

SNL, skit, president-elect...

President-elect Donald Trump hasn't enjoyed Alec Baldwin's impressions of him. He even live-tweeted that the latest skit poking fun at Trump was "unwatchable." (AP)

Saturday Night Live was at it again, with Alec Baldwin in the Trump wig scrunching up his Trump lips, caricaturing Trump in a security briefing where he can’t pay attention because he’s too busy re-tweeting random teenagers.

“Kellyanne, I just retweeted the best tweet,” Baldwin, playing Trump, said during the skit.

“Mr. Trump, we’re in a security briefing.”

“I know, but this could not wait,” Baldwin continues. “It was from a young man named Seth. He’s 16. He’s in high school. And I really did tweet him, seriously.”

He actually did do this. But the real punchline was when the Real Donald Trump tweeted during the broadcast that the skit was “unwatchable and not funny.”

The skit was clearly also true!

But Saturday Night Live wasn’t Trump’s only target over the weekend. He also went after China for criticizing the call he got from the president of Taiwan.

China, as we were told over and over again on CNN, would not tolerate Taiwan being treated as a separate nation. Prompting Mr. Trump to tweet “Interesting how the U.S. sells Taiwan … military equipment but I should not accept a congratulatory call …”

That makes, I think, a pretty good point. It would be silly for Chinese officials to get all in a bunch over one phone call. That would be like a president-elect getting all in a bunch over a silly — oh, never mind.

Ross: Are we killing car culture? Or is car culture killing the US?

I don’t think the question is whether we're going to "kill" our car culture. The real question is can we stop our car culture from killing the U.S.?
