The Halloween crash on Highway 20 that killed an Oak Harbor teenager has now claimed the life of her twin sister.

The Washington State Patrol reports that 17-year-old Janesah Goheen died at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle Monday.

Her twin sister, Janeah Goheen, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The family lost another daughter, Jessica Goheen Thorn, in a 2008 car accident.

With this latest fatal accident, police arrested 52-year-old Ira Blackstock on suspicion of vehicular homicide and vehicular assault.’

According to a report by a detective with the State Patrol, Blackstock was driving his 2006 Ford Mustang south on State Highway 20 and “accelerated rapidly” as he approached an intersection.

His car crossed into the oncoming lane, striking an oncoming 1993 Acura driven by Janesah Goheen. Janeah Goheen was in the rear passenger seat and died at the scene. Another friend was injured.

The family recently posted an obituary for Janeah. They say she enjoyed listening to music, singing, playing guitar, hanging out with her friends, and being with her dogs Zoe and Charlie.

Parents Jim and Debbie Goheen of Oak Harbor, and two other daughters Joylyn Goheen and Janielle Whittingham, had been planning a Saturday memorial for Janeah at the Oak Harbor High School gym.
