Magnitude-3.7 earthquake is state’s second quake of the day

Washington Emergency Management reported that a magnitude 3.7 earthquake at Olympic National State Park Sunday did not cause any damage. The quake was less than 25 miles deep.

This was the second earthquake that had a greater than 3.0 magnitude recorded in the state of the day. A 3.1-magniuted quake was reported at around 6 a.m. in Riverbend. The National Weather Service said that magnitude-8 quake that hit off the Solomon Islands was not a tsunami threat on the West Coast.
