One of the pieces of advice people give you when you start in talk radio is to be black-and-white. Pick a strong position, like immigration, and defend that position.
And sometimes there are things that seem to me really black-and-white, like the case of the “Dreamer” that is being held by ICE in Seattle.

But there are several things that can be true at one time. Some of the activist liberals are trying desperately to convince you that the “storm troopers” are ready to burst in and drag innocent people from their homes; purely innocent, just kids. But we’ve been so lenient on illegal immigration for so long when we should have been firm with who gets to come into the country.
We see a full court press from the media saying that we need to be afraid of ICE and the Trump administration. And these are coordinated messages being sent.
There could be many things happening at once. Kids who were brought here illegally can be great people, but there could also be really bad people who were brought here as well. There are many layers going on at the same time.
But what we should be doing is deciding whether the people in this country meet the standards that we have set in place to stay and live here.
Let’s keep our eyes open and be able to look at the nuances.
