Riding light rail in Seattle on a f-f-f-f-freezing day with no pants

A small prank that started with seven guys in New York taking their pants off on the subway has grown into an annual celebration of silliness. People around the world, and in Seattle took part in the No Pants ride of public transit.
The idea behind No Pants is simple. Random passengers board a subway car – in Seattle’s case light rail or buses – in the middle of winter without pants.
Why?
The answer I get from everyone I ask is, “Why not?”
No really, why?
The participants do not behave as if they know each other, and they all wear winter coats, hats, scarves, and gloves. The only unusual thing is their lack of pants.
Emerald City Improv is behind Seattle’s No Pants light rail ride.
There are five requirements for participation. Pantless riders need to: Take their pants off on light rail; Stay in character and don’t say what’s going on; Wear non-offensive underwear; Pay your fare; Bring a small bag or backpack to put your pants in during the event.
The temperature in Seattle during Sunday’s ride was 37 degrees.
Organizers say it’s a cheeky way (pardon the pun) to do something different and remind people that every day is another chance for something unique to happen.
