What Ds and Rs say about each other is 100 percent noise

There’s an opportunity that lies before us courtesy of Donald Trump.
The president isn’t loyal to either the Democrats or the Republicans. He’s headed in his own pre-determined direction. And sometimes his plans will really anger Conservatives, including me.
But his power in D.C. came from being independent. He can do things that only outsiders can do. And his power is his unpredictability.
The more loyal you are to a political party, the less they care about you. Those in charge think your loyalty isn’t to principles but to the letter R or D.
And that’s how Conservatives lost power. “They won’t push back; they have nowhere else to go.” I heard that constantly when I was in D.C. But people have their breaking points.
And that’s what led to the rise of Donald Trump.
Let us learn from the example of the President of the United States and not be tied to one party. We need to be principled. And I suggest that we pursue Constitutional Conservatism.
