New Daft Punk Album and The Collaborators Series

Apr 12, 2013, 4:21 PM | Updated: 5:10 pm

Daft Punk haven’t released a proper full length record since 2005’s Human After All but this coming May 21st the duo will finally be releasing their 4th LP, Random Access Memories. I am so freaking pumped! Over the past couple of months Daft Punk have been leaking teeny tiny clips from the record which started with a :15 second commercial that aired during an episode of SNL and was followed up later that same month with another song clip, again, played during SNL.

Leading up to the release, Intel and Vice have been producing a series of interviews with collaborators on the duo’s latest album as part of their series ‘The Creators Project.’

Oh, and then there’s this.

Episode 1: Giorgio Moroder

Episode 2: Todd Edwards

Episode 3: Nile Rodgers

NEW MUSIC: Charlie and The Rays release debut album

Charlie and the Rays' debut album is a sprawling pastiche of roots rock and pop. The self-titled album is a gem awash with vocal harmonies, hand claps, wailing guitar licks, and deep swells of emotion.
