Noise for the Needy Line-up Announced

Noise for the Needy is happening this June 20th-23rd with a slew of really great local bands in tow whose only goal those 4 days will be to perform their hearts out for you. Establishments all around Ballard (The Sunset, Tractor Tavern, Conor Byrne and Hattie's Hat) will be participating in this worthy cause that you should check out if you like music, booze and giving to charity.

NFTN is a Seattle-based nonprofit organization that raises money for charitable causes through the production of live music shows. To date, NFTN has raised over $150,000 for Seattle charities.

Performing at this year's event will be Said The Whale, Battleme, River Giant, Smokey Brights, Polyrhythmics, "The Rolling Stones", "JD and The Schmitty Boys", The Blakes, Sassparilla, Ole Tinder, Julia Massey and The Five Finger Discount, The Great UM, The Jesus Rehab, Kris Orlowski, Hot Bodies In Motion, Cody Beebe and The Crooks, and Tango Alpha Tango - with more to be announced soon!

It just so happens that I've been lucky enough to have the opportunity to chat with several of the bands listed above. The Jesus Rehab, River Giant, The Great Um and Julia Massey and The Five Finger Discount are those exact bands.
