Go to this show: Ball of Wax Volume 29 Release Show

In 2005 Levi Fuller had an idea. That idea was to collect music that might not otherwise be heard from local and non-local acts alike, put some of this music onto a CD, have a concert event in conjunction with each CD release and see what happens. Well, what happened was that people really liked the music that ended up on these CD's and they attended the release parties in force.
This time around, Ball of Wax Volume 29 is an absolutely no guitars album and since the album is guitarless, it only makes sense that the show would follow suit, which...'For some people (such as the keys-and-drums juggernaut of Gems or the ivory-tinkling genius that is Caitlin Sherman) that won’t be such a big deal, but others of us are going to have to craft custom sets just for this event,' writes Levi Fuller from his Ball of Wax blog.
The show takes place this Friday at the Comet Tavern on Capitol Hill and is only $7. With the price of admission you receive a free copy of the latest Ball of Wax, too! Go here to learn how you can submit some of your music to maybe be included on an upcoming Ball of Wax CD. Check out my chat with Levi Fuller below and learn all about the event and hear some tunes from a few of the bands playing the show...
