Susan Powell, the mother of two little boys killed when their father intentionally blew up their Puyallup house, turns 31 Tuesday. Her friends are remembering her with an original song.
The West Valley City, Utah woman has been missing since December of 2009. Powell’s husband, Josh, said he didn’t know anything about her disappearance. He killed himself and the couple’s two young sons – Braden and Charlie – at their home in Graham earlier this year.
Jennifer Graves, Josh Powell’s estranged sister, spoke to a group of girls over the weekend about building healthy relationships. The discussion ended with a performance of “A Dream Away” written by one of Susan’s friends, Camilyn Morrison.
Any profits from the song will go toward memorials for Susan in Utah and Puyallup.
