What is ISIS really fighting against?

I was very disturbed looking at the murders that happened during Holy Week.
What are the perpetrators really targeting?
The Pew Research Center did a study and found that 31% of the world is Christian. That’s 7.3 billion people. What is ISIS really targeting? What are they hoping to destroy? And did you know that one of the fastest growing areas for Christianity is China? It could become the largest Christian nation.
Europe is the one area where Christianity is not growing.
What is fascinating to watch with ISIS is how they are fighting something they can’t completely eradicate or destroy. Christianity is continuing to grow around the world. ISIS can’t defeat the ideas behind Christianity. But I think the ideas behind extremist Islam can be defeated and eradicated. I think it has to start with eradicating the people who are pushing these extremist ideas.
It seems that extremist Islam is fighting against time. But I don’t think they realize that. The ideas behind Christianity can’t be eradicated now.
