Seattle rallies to beat Cal State Fullerton 75-71
SEATTLE (AP) - Isiah Umipig scored a game-high 24 points to help Seattle to a come-from-behind win over Cal State Fullerton 75-71 Wednesday night.
Umipig, who transferred to Seattle (1-1) from Cal State Fullerton last year, finished with eight assists and shot 4-for-7 from 3-point range.
Down double digits with under 4 minutes to go, the Redhawks charged back to take the lead with a clutch 3-pointer from Luiz Bidart with 3:33 remaining.
Jarell Flora sealed the victory for Seattle with a layup with 1 second to go. Flora, who shot 5-for-9 from the beyond the arc and 8-for-17 from the field, finished with 25 points.
Cal State Fullerton (1-1) blew an 18-point lead in the second half. Seattle outscored the Titans 37-19 in the last 10 minutes of the game.
Michael Williams scored 17 points, and Alex Harris added 14 for the Titans.
