Grayson leads CS Bakersfield past Seattle 83-65
Trailing 47-33, Seattle used an 8-0 run to pull within six with fewer than 13 minutes remaining.
Aly Ahmed's layup about 3 1/2 minutes later sparked a 14-2 spurt by CSUB (11-14, 4-7 Western Athletic Conference), pushing the Roadrunners' lead to 18, 66-48, and Seattle never threatened again.
Ahmed finished with 15 points and eight rebounds. Javonte Maynor and Brandon Barnes scored 11 apiece for Bakersfield, which shot 52 percent overall, including 6 of 9 from 3-point range.
Seattle (12-12, 4-7) made just 23 of 64 field goals, going 9 of 34 from deep, and committed 18 turnovers.
Isiah Umipig paced the Redhawks with 12 points and Emerson Murray added another 10.
