Police details of alleged Hope Solo, Jerramy Stevens fight

Hope Solo married her fiance after a domestic assault arrest. Details from the police report would seem to indicate she might want to go solo.

She's the U.S. women's soccer team goalie. Jerramy Stevens is a former UW Husky football player and former Seahawk's tight-end. KING 5 reports the two went ahead with their wedding ceremony Tuesday night.

Police responded to a 911 call at 3:45 a.m. Monday morning involving a fight at a party. Solo's brother, Marcus, said there were "unwanted guests" at the party and he used a stun gun on one of them.

According to the report, Solo yelled "don't say anything to them Marcus" at her brother several times when questioned by police.

Meanwhile, police found Stevens on the floor between a wall and bed. Stevens said he was sleeping, not hiding, and that he didn't hear the fight.

Police say Stevens had dried blood on his shirt and cheek and there were signs of a fight in the bedroom.

The officer noted in his affidavit for probable cause for arrest that Solo had an injury to her elbow.

Based on Stevens' account that he had been arguing with Solo, the sign of an altercation in the bedroom, and the blood on his shirt, police arrested Stevens on charges of fourth-degree domestic assault.

Stevens told the officer he and Solo had been fighting about whether they would live in Florida or Washington after their wedding.

After appearing in court, Stevens was released due to a lack of evidence connecting him to an assault.

Stevens has a history of run-ins with the police.

Among his problems: In 1998, Stevens was arrested for second-degree assault armed with a deadly weapon and fourth-degree assault.

In 2000, Stevens was arrested for the sexual assault of a 19-year-old University of Washington freshman. Prosecutors declined to file rape charges because of insufficient evidence.

In 2001, Stevens pleaded guilty to hit-and-run and causing property damage to a building and was sentenced to 240 hours of community service.

In 2003, Medina Police stopped him for reckless driving and driving while intoxicated. He was fined $1,000 and was sentenced to two days in jail; He has been arrested multiple times for marijuana possession.

Most recently, in March of 2011, Stevens was arrested and charged with felony battery for punching two bouncers in a Tampa, Florida bar.

Hope Solo has been involved with at least a few aggressive incidents she outlined in her book, "Solo: A Memoir of Hope."

She wrote about her benching during the 2007 World Cup after she criticized legendary keeper Brianna Scurry. She alleges then-coach Greg Ryan shoved her, although he denied it.

More recently, she claimed that "Dancing with the Stars" partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy slapped her. He denies that.
