Coffee company with scantily clad servers wants Tully's

Tully's Coffee started in Seattle with the intention of taking on the big guy, Starbucks. That didn't work and the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in October.

Now another Seattle coffee company wants to take over Tully's with servers who have taken off much of their clothing.

Seattle-based Baristas Coffee Company, which features scantily clad female servers at drive-through coffee stands, says it's making a bid for Tully's.

The company has formed Baristas Acquisition Partners to complete the acquisition of Tully's.

A statement from the company indicates the new group consists of several current Tully's shareholders and executives from the coffee industry.

Tully's bankruptcy filing listed $5.9 million in personal property as the company's only assets and $3.7 million in total liabilities, including $2.6 million in unsecured credit.

Bids for Tully's are being accepted until December 27.

    Just what men need, being called a perv account of the coffee cup in their hand! I wonder if she's calculated her energy costs (carbon cup size) of maintaining sufficient heat in those shacks?

    Don't advertise for your baristas in Craigslist's "talent" section. Like there's some kind of talent to that job, forgedsake. It's wearing a bikini, smiling, batting your eyelashes and making coffee. You're WAY overestimating your skills.

    that they intend on having indoor coffee shops?

    not sure how that will go over. dudes are fine just driving up and getting their coffee, but it takes actual effort to GO IN and get it from "scantaly clad" baristas.

    there's a not so subtle difference in the effort of just driving thru and actually being dedicated enough to GO IN AND HAVE A LOOK.

    feels a little creepy when you think about it.

    maybe just keep it in the drive thru stands...

    I'd much rather get my coffee from a "...scantily clad female server..." than from a dressed up 99%er zombie who needs a good shower that works for Howard Shultz and the Sonic haters.
