Tully's Coffee started in Seattle with the intention of taking on the big guy, Starbucks. That didn't work and the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in October.

Now another Seattle coffee company wants to take over Tully's with servers who have taken off much of their clothing.

Seattle-based Baristas Coffee Company, which features scantily clad female servers at drive-through coffee stands, says it's making a bid for Tully's.

The company has formed Baristas Acquisition Partners to complete the acquisition of Tully's.

A statement from the company indicates the new group consists of several current Tully's shareholders and executives from the coffee industry.

Tully's bankruptcy filing listed $5.9 million in personal property as the company's only assets and $3.7 million in total liabilities, including $2.6 million in unsecured credit.

Bids for Tully's are being accepted until December 27.

    Can't wait for the
LGBT bikini crowd and all the trimmings to take over the Tully's at Aloha Ave. East and 19th Ave East on Capitol Hill. The St. Joe and Holy Names early morning crowd will go wild!?

    What did AJ say?
Something ain't right about that guy. You a little shy around the girls, AJ? Maybe a Chippendale's espresso outlet would be more your style! I applaud the idea of an espresso outlet that caters to men and some women, I'm sure. The conservative republican posters on this site won't have any of this, I'm sure. It will make money, and plenty of it. The republican ears perked right up, they like the $. What would their Sunday morning religious group have to say about this? Hypocrites, every one of them.

    Why not?
Hooters is in town why not coffee shops seeking to provide employment opportunities to some? We have the Freemont parade when diguisting individuals paint their naked bodies and have them parade through out town in a mock parade. Better yet, even naked painted individuals are welcomed in the Seattle Central fountain during the summer when children are there. Are we really going to draw the line at this? Hypocrites!

BTW...I'm wondering what Linda's opinion is on..
I don't remember Linda's opinion on the Freemont parade or having painted individual flaunt their 'junk' in the Seattle fountain. Does the Freemont parade, or Seattle's free expression at public park, her enough to publish a report like this or is she just seeking a news story? Come on Linda, let us hear it!
