What's in the most expensive Starbucks drink?

How do you spend $23.60 on one drink at Starbucks?

StarbucksLogan Warren says he did it with a drink that was "tolerable, but not good."

"Armed with my Starbucks Rewards card, I decided to take the opportunity to find out just how much money I could pour into a Trenta," he says. That's a 31 ounce cup Starbucks offers for iced drinks in some of its locations.

Warren and the barista set out to create the most expensive drink possible, and here it is:

Java Chip Frappuccino
16 shots of espresso
A shot of soy milk
Caramel flavoring
Banana puree
Strawberry puree
Vanilla beans
Matcha powder
Protein powder
A drizzle of caramel and mocha

Add all that stuff up and it not only does it cost over 20 bucks, it contains 1400 milligrams of caffeine.

I don't drink coffee, so I can't appreciate this drink. But I'm curious, what's the most money you've spent at Starbucks on a single drink?

Warren ordered this drink a year ago, so far no one has claimed to have topped his most-expensive Starbucks drink. If you try, let me know.
