Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos wants to hear your pitch for his next philanthropic effort.
Also the founder of Blue Origin, Bezos is used to thinking big and long term. But, he says he’s ready to do things a little differently.
In a Tweet sent out Thursday, Bezos says he’s been inspired by his partnership with Mary’s Place, a family shelter which will soon have a permanent home at Amazon’s new Seattle offices.
He’s requesting people tweet at him with their ideas and says he wants it to be “here and now, short term, at the intersection of urgent need and lasting impact.”
In just the first 15 minutes, he received more than 300 responses.

Earlier this year, Amazon announced that it would provide half of one of its new office buildings to Mary’s Place, which has housed hundreds of people as they get back on their feet.
