Efforts underway to prevent hepatitis C outbreaks
In this Monday Dec. 2, 2013 photo, Jane Young from the New Hampshire Attorney General's office listens to John Kacavas, U.S. Attorney General from New Hampshire, in Concord, N.H., after traveling hospital worker David Kwiatkowski was sentenced to 39 years in prison for infecting dozens of patients with hepatitis C through tainted syringes from drugs he stole. Now prosecutors are working on policy recommendations to prevent future outbreaks, a project that dovetails with other similar efforts spurred by the criminal case. (AP Photo/Jim Cole)
