Plant of the Week: Trachelospermum Jasminoides

"Known as Star Jasmine, this evergreen shrub with a vining habit features attractive, glossy, dark-green leaves, but the coup de resistance is the jasmine-like perfume produced by the white, star-shaped blossoms in spring and early summer. Easily pruned as a shrub, plant your Star Jasmine near an entry way and watch visitors swoon as they are captured by the incredible fragrance." - Ciscoe Morris

Key feature: Fragrant

Plant type: Groundcover

Light needs: Partial to full sun

Growth rate: Fast

Water needs: Regular watering

Average landscape size: Twining stems 18-20 ft. long, 1-2 ft. tall
