Better late than never. Fink, aka Fin Greenall, is an English singer, songwriter, guitarist, producer and DJ, born in Cornwall and currently based in Brighton. Since the 2006 release of his album Biscuits for Breakfast, the name Fink has also referred to the recording and touring trio fronted by Greenall himself, completed by Guy Whittaker (bass) and Tim Thornton (drums). You may know Fink from his 2007 song ‘This is the Thing’ which is a song that should be listened to on those long bus rides through a darkened city while you watch the sidewalk people pass you by as you think of someone you loved once.
Following his stunning 2011 album Perfect Darkness, Fink announces the release of the band’s much anticipated debut live album Wheels Turn Beneath My Feet documenting the mammoth ‘Perfect Darkness Tour’. With the release of four universally acclaimed studio albums, and now a much anticipated live record, Fink has further solidified himself as one of the UK’s most unique and captivating music artists. Wheels Turn Beneath My Feet captures Fink at his very best – the room-silencing performer who, along with bandmates Guy Whittaker on bass and Tim Thornton on drums, guitar, and percussion, create one of the most arresting and atmospheric live shows around.
