I’d rather go back to debating ‘covfefe’ than this

The Russia story is starting to spin out of control and Congressman Steve King of Iowa has had it. He told CNN the real collusion here involves the FBI.
“The Comey investigation, now him picking the special counsel on top of it, on its face, appears to be collusion.”
Yes. He says the investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians — now being run by special counsel Robert Mueller who was actually hired by the deputy attorney general, not former FBI Director James Comey — is itself collusion.
That is because it may have started with James Comey colluding with Hillary Clinton to go easy on her emails.
“Well, Hillary was under investigation, we all know that. They interviewed her in a secret room somewhere. There were no notes taken … and they won’t release the names of the individuals who did the interviews.”
That implies to him that something was clearly covered up.
He says if the media insist on pursuing the president, then it’s going to make Congress do the unthinkable.
“If this continues, it’s going to force this Congress to do an investigation. And that means going back all the way to the 650,000 emails of Anthony Weiner and look at Comey and his activities. I don’t want to do that, Alisyn!”
He is threatening to bring back Anthony Weiner!
Well, we Americans are a determined people. We are unafraid of the truth. We are bravely learning to pronounce names like Veselnitskaya. But if it means bringing back Anthony Weiner, I’d rather go back to debating covfefe.
