Fatal motorcycle crash snarls I-5 traffic near Lakewood

All northbound lanes of I-5 in Lakewood were reopened Friday afternoon following a fatal motorcycle crash.

A motorcycle collided with the rear of another vehicle on the freeway, according to Washington State Trooper Brooke Bova. The motorcycle rider did not survive the crash.

Traffic remained sluggish as emergency crews clear the scene for nearly two hours near Berkeley Avenue (mile post 122).
