Both directions of I-5 impacted by rollover crash in Tacoma

A four-vehicle crash blocked lanes in both directions of I-5 at Bridgeport Way SW in Tacoma Friday morning.

Check the traffic map

Four people were transported to the hospital — one person is in critical condition.

According to Washington State Patrol Trooper Brooke Bova, one car rolled over the barrier that separates the northbound and southbound lanes of I-5.

The northbound lanes were cleared by 8:40 a.m. However, traffic backed up for seven miles.
