Seahawks' Thurmond, McDonald inactive against Jets
Seahawks cornerback Walter Thurmond and defensive tackle Clinton McDonald are inactive for Sunday's game against the Jets.
Thurmond was recently activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list after recovering from a leg injury, while McDonald is dealing with a groin injury.
Linebacker K.J. Wright and guard James Carpenter, both dealing with concussions, were ruled out on Friday. Safety Winston Guy, tackle Mike Person and defensive end Greg Scruggs are the Seahawks' other inactive players.
Wide receiver Braylon Edwards (knee) and defensive lineman Jason Jones (ankle) are both active after missing the last two games. Rookie defensive tackle Jaye Howard, a fourth-round pick out of Florida, is active for the first time this season.
The Jets' inactives: QB Greg McElroy, RB Joe McKnight, LB Aaron Maybin, G Caleb Schlauderaff, G Hayworth Hicks, TE Hayden Smith and DT Kendrick Ellis.
And for your uniform note, the Seahawks are wearing their blue tops and blue pants. The Jets are in all white.
