The slumping economy and the collapse of Washington
Mutual have brought an end to the only remaining major
July 4 fireworks show in Seattle.

We’re pleased to announce, with your help we have reached the goal of raising $500,000 in pledges.

Seattle super chef Tom Douglas and Dave Ross challenged local businesses to pledge money to
preserve the Gasworks Park firework display.
