United Airlines announced Thursday that it will offer flights to its hubs in Denver and San Francisco from Everett’s Paine Field.
The six daily flights will begin in fall of 2018.
United currently operates 36 flights between Sea-Tac Airport and its U.S. hubs.
It is the second airline to announce commercial service from Paine Field.
In May, Alaska Airlines announced it would offer up to nine daily flights from the airport.
Alaska has not yet announced where flights will go, but the airline says it will be a mix of business and vacation destinations.
The Paine Field terminal operator, Propeller Airports, broke ground for the new passenger terminal in June.
The terminal will be able to handle about 16 daily flights, Propeller CEO Brett Smith told the Herald in June.
The City of Mukilteo has long fought commercial flights at Paine Field, and has a court case pending.
