Stage Sci-fi: “Little Shop of Horrors” – Thursday to Sunday, August 10-13. This musical is expected to entertain. From event site: The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names “Audrey II” – after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it, BLOOD. City Festival: AuburnFest – Saturday, August 12, 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. If you plan on attending this event, expect entertainment stages, food, crafts, a car show and more. Not only will there be fun for adults, kids can enjoy face painting, hands-on art activities, and even an indoor playground. This event will be held at Les Gove Park in Auburn. Mammoth Amusement: Morton Loggers’ Jubilee – Thursday to Sunday, August 10-13.Celebrate 75 years at the jubilee by experiencing a logging show competition, lawnmower races, bed races and so much more. Festive Mood: Festival of the River & Pow Wow – Saturday & Sunday, August 12-13. Gates open at 11 a.m. Attendees can experience music and other entertainment at the festival. There will also be a 5K fun run. Also, experience the traditional dances and culture of Native American tribes.
