The Seahawks spent a third-round pick on John Moffitt in 2011 with the hope that he would become a mainstay on the right side of their offensive line.
Before his career in Seattle ended Monday with a trade to the Browns, Moffitt hadn't been able to distinguish himself in a competition at right guard with a player who two seasons ago was a defensive tackle in college. That, along with an Adderall-related suspension, a knee injury that cost him half his rookie season and a total of 15 starts made for a disappointing two years with the Seahawks.
