The Mariners and the ghosts of trades past

The trades that sent Cliff Lee to Texas in 2010 and Doug Fister to Detroit a year later only produced minimal returns for the Mariners, who have come out on the wrong end of two of the more notable deadline deals they've made under general manager Jack Zduriencik.

With the Mariners still in contention as July approaches, Bob Stelton and Dave Grosby discuss in the video above the notion that the team should be at all reticent to make a trade because some previous deals haven't panned out.
