CNN is going wall to wall with the missing plane. So Wednesday night on CNN they got Northwest “Science Guy” Bill Nye on to talk about the missing plane. And I was thinking what in the world is going on here?

Nye sat down with Piers Morgan to offer his insight. Here’s a portion of the conversation:

Piers Morgan: What does your gut tell you has happened here?

Bill Nye: I would not be surprised to find that those satellite images do represent some part of the plane and that the full resolution hasn’t been released by the Chinese government or Chinese space administration because there’s a big thing in spy satellites – you don’t want the other guy to know what you know.

Piers: It may be possible that they have much better images which they didn’t want people to know because it would reveal too much of their machinery.

Bill: Oh yes. I’ve spent a lot of time with UFO images and these when you look closely at that it looks like the triangular or the three dots are somewhat detuned. This is speculation but you can’t help it.

I’m sorry. I like Bill. I know Bill. We used to play basketball together. But bringing Bill Nye in to analyze satellite images of possible wreckage in the sea, that’s ludicrous.

What I know, is back when he had his kids TV show, Bill Nye surrounded himself with idiots. Here’s one that used to make regular appearances [skip to 18:06 mark]:

They should ask me to comment on CNN. We should contact CNN’s producers and let them know I was on the Bill Nye show 25 years ago and I can comment on these satellite images as well as Bill can.
