We’ve been following Julie’s story all week. She had a difficult conflict as her father’s memorial and the state championship basketball game she might be playing in were on the same day hundreds of miles apart.
Kenmore Air said this week if the team makes it to the championship, they’ll provide Julie transport between both events so she doesn’t have to miss either.
And the W.F. West High School Bearcats are still in it! They won their quarter-final game on Thursday so they’re moving on. Julie was actually the high scorer last game, so we’re glad Kenmore Air will allow her to be there with her teammates should they make it to the championship.
The team’s next game is Friday at 3:45. If they win that, the state championship game is on Saturday.
