While fans were going crazy outside, there was plenty of celebrating going on inside the Seahawks locker room Sunday as well after Seattle knocked off the 49ers to earn a trip to the Super Bowl.

A new video just released on Seahawks.com takes us behind the scenes for the emotional gathering as owner Paul Allen, head coach Pete Carroll and GM John Schneider offer their congratulations and praise.

Allen called it an “amazing effort,” saying the guys “toughed it out and made big plays time after time.”

The billionaire reminded the guys it will be his second trip to the Super Bowl as owner, and told them how much it means to him.

“If you’re going there you want to win it and I’m sure you guys feel the same way,” he said.

Carroll is his usually enthusiastic self, giving the team big props, especially for their second half showing.

“You know what we score in the second half? 20 to frickin’ 7 to win this game,” he gushed.

Carroll goes on to praise a number of players including Marshawn Lynch, Doug Baldwin, Steven Hauschka and of course Richard Sherman.

But his love for all the guys is evident.

“There’s so many cool things about it, coming together and staying together all this time that we should be very grateful for all the guys in this room.”

Carroll also calls out the 12th Man and reminds the team how important the fans are, calling them “unbelievable.”

“They’ve been great to us all along,” he said. “It’s the place in the world to play football.”

The video also captures Carroll presenting a game ball to Schneider, who seems near tears as he addresses the team.

“I’m so proud of you guys, proud of everybody in this whole room and whole building.”

The video also captures Seattle hip-hop star Macklemore leading the players in a dance and cheer as the party fires up.
