It’s become an annual tradition on the Dori Monson Show to list the worst Christmas songs of all time. This year’s list included some old favorites, as well as some newer, more oddball selections.
Dori is grated whenever he hears Jose Feliciano’s ‘Feliz Navidad’ or Paul McCartney’s ‘Simply Having a Wonderful Christmastime’ come on the radio. Don’t even get him started on Barbara Streisand’s ‘Jingle Bells.’
Listeners chimed in with their wost songs online and on-air, most commonly nominating ‘Christmas in the Northwest,’ ‘Do They Know it’s Christmas’ by Band Aid, and ‘Christmas Shoes.’ A few even introduced previously unknown awful Christmas songs.
This year’s definitive list of terrible Christmas songs:
Feliz Navidad – Jose Feliciano
Jingle Bells – Barbara Streisand
Santa Claus is Coming to Town – Bruce Springsteen
Simply Having a Wonderful Christmastime – Sir Paul McCartney
I’m Ready for Christmas – The Rocktuplets
Santa Baby
All I Want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth
Christmas in the Northwest – Brenda White
Christmas in Harlem – Kanye West
Santa Claus is Coming to Town – James Brown
Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer – Neil Diamond
