Ross and Burbank Show staff member to try pot now that it'll be legal

After Washington voters approved I-502, which legalizes the use of marijuana among people over 21, one of the Ross and Burbank Show staff members says he's going to give it a try.

Host Luke Burbank thought this was something that would never happen.

"People, I don't think, start smoking pot because it's legal," said Burbank, in an early morning discussion of Tuesday night's election results.

But co-host Dave Ross said indeed one of the show's own staff members is now going to try it simply because it will soon be legal to do so.

"I have a source that tells me that somebody who has never smoked pot before is now going to try it for the first time," Ross said, introducing Associate Producer Nick, aka "Young Jeezy."

"Because it was illegal I never tried it," said Nick. "But now it's legal, I'm feeling, 'let's give it a shot.'"

Luke said he didn't think people like Nick, choosing not to smoke simply because it was illegal, existed.

"We all figured that everybody who is going to smoke pot would have smoked it already except for a bunch of rule-bound people who are probably so straight-laced they're too afraid to try it," said Dave.

Even now that it'll be legal, self-identified straight-laced Dave, said he won't be lighting up anytime soon.

"It messes with your brain man."

After explaining to Dave that he once didn't know the effects of alcohol until he tried it, Luke said he hopes pot use won't have any negative effects on Young Jeezy.

"If we lose our Associate Producer down a black hole of reefer madness off of this, I am really going to regret advocating for it."

what is the dave and luke show about? trendy cafes, pot, gay marriage mostly.
Why not do more topics re the 16T debt, corporations leaving the country, Boeig having a conference based on it's suppliers sending business to Mexico. How about the ageing population and entitlement spending and how will this be paid in the future. nah, the seattle libs want to hear their fluff or hear people who think exactly like they do.

    Just a hint,
wait at least 6 months and don't tell anyone until the federal statute is out. the last thing you need is a radio-recording of you admitting that you broke the law

For all the idiots who are going to do just this when there's still required legislative work to do. And there is that pesky federal law that takes precedence. When is booger sugar going to be legalized?

The Feds cannot force the states to enforce federal law. All they can do is come in and do it themselves or sue the state. The feds are not going to target users, they will go after the big dispensaries. People who are of the age 21 or older can have up to an ounce of dried pot, 16 oz in the form of edibles, and 72 oz in liquid form on Dec. 6th, 2012. Stores, however, cannot set up or sell marijuana until Dec. of 2013. Of course, that is until this goes before the courts and delays everything. Either way, if you smoke now you are not going to stop until it is figured out. So...LIGHT UP!

Your first time huh? Bet not. By the way, gotta believe that Bonneville might have one of them drug kits for you to pee into after the fact. You see, THAT's the real elephant in the room. Employer drug testing just got interesting.

R & B? Reprobate and Bong-hit! bwah! hah! Hah! "Staff member to try pot because it's legal! Ha, ha!!"
You guys are phishing for a story. NOBODY with a LEGITIMATE set of testicles tries something new, simply because it becomes legal. NOBODY WITH CONVICTIONS!

This staff member/jellyfish invertebrate is more wishy-washy than Charlie Brown! And that's saying a lot!
