Just calmly getting ready

You might think the gun community is, dare I say, up in arms about a possible assault weapons ban, but cruising the Internet, they seem to be taking it calmly and just preparing for it.

"In today's video, we thought that we would explore the idea - if you had to buy five guns to prepare for a potential assault weapons ban," says a YouTube published gun expert.

And they already know which guns will be targeted first: the AR-15s.

"This is going to be the number one gun that they'll be coming for because it looks evil."

But no need to panic, because you can just buy the core part of the gun, the lower receiver, as it's called, which is maybe $150, as many as you want, and and just add the other parts later.

"Now see, this is what is considered the gun, this lower receiver. Now under an assault weapons ban if you've got 10 of these laying around all you have to do is buy the uppers and everything else is the same because that receiver was grandfathered in, in such case because it was purchased before the assault weapons ban.

And you definitely want to stock up on the high capacity magazines.

"These magazines, they sell for like $15, when the ban comes back you can sell them for a hundred bucks a piece. You need to stock up - not only on guns - but stock up on the accessories as well."

I have to say, they don't sound a bit worried. So there you have it - whether there's an assault weapons ban or not, it sounds like there are still ways to maintain an arsenal - and even make a little extra money.

Not me. You are absolutely correct. In 1999, Wayne LaPierre and Chuck Heston began spending a large percentage of NRA dues on buying up barges of confiscated "assault weapons" that were originally headed for the smelter and resold them at a profit to anyone that could produce proof that they were gang members or drug dealers. They then reinvested part of the proceeds into buying the reloading equipment and supplies to have asylum tenants assemble the ultra destructive, tank piercing ammunition that you can't get at Cabela's. When said tenants had reached their quotas, they were given a rifle and sent out the door. All this was done behind the smoke screen of supposedly representing 4 million members and devoting the vast majority of their output to safety training and education. Those sneaky b_st_rds.

After all their program kills more babies in one year then assault rifles have killed in 50 years. Thats right liberals keep the scaple at the ready. What a bunch of loser-sickos. Also during the last election 76% of voters thought we were going in the wrong direction but they still voted for the worst president in history. They just wouldn't admit they screwed up in 08.

If you honestly think abortions are MURDER why don't you stop them.If my next door neighbor was killing people every day I would certainly stop him one way or the other(regardless of what was done to me) if law enforcement would not step in. Are you guys on the Right a group of COWARDS or what?I think your side is full of it and don't truly believe that a unborn is a REAL PERSON until well into the pregnancy

Jewish scholars interpreted the title of "Lord of Flies" as the Hebrew way of calling Ba'al a pile of dung and comparing Ba'al followers to flies.

Why does Obama hate the Jews? The answer is ancient.

What Dave doesn't tell you about the proposed gun ban is this....
If passed, Feinstein’s Gun Ban would: *** Ban the sale, transfer, importation, and manufacturing of 120 specifically named rifles, shotguns and handguns! *** Ban the sale, transfer, importation and manufacturing of ALL firearms with a detachable magazine and at least one "military characteristic" -- which could mean just about anything that makes a gun "look scary;" *** Ban the sale, transfer, importation, and manufacturing of magazines holding more than 10 rounds; *** Force owners of ALL "grandfathered" weapons to undergo an intrusive background check and fingerprinting -- treating law-abiding citizens like criminals; *** Force owners of ALL "grandfathered" weapons to federally register their guns after obtaining a permission slip from local law enforcement showing their guns are not in violation of state or local law.

Without the agency of human intervention firearms are nothing but lumps of metal wood and plastic. Really, nothing but lumps of shaped material, useless and inert. When one meaningfully attributes the characteristic of life to inanimate objects one projects a materialism indicative of the LACK OF A SOUL,(look up and review dialectic materialism) You may be nothing but matter in motion, don't presume to arrogate to yourself the right to decide everyone else is as well.

@CH. . .actually, if you did your homework, you'd know not only can you legally own a demilled tank, but in the state of Washington, DD's (destructive devices) are legal with proper federal registration. Granted, you would have to register the cannon itself, plus each round for it is treated as a DD itself (meaning federal paperwork on each round.) And wow. . .it's legal to own a tank. How 'bout that? And look at all the mass killings and mayhem caused by armored vehicles in private hands across this country.

In fact only Police, Fire, military and Delivery people
need vehicles, they should be banned for all the rest.

Same with Alcohol, tobacco and Drugs, they serve no purpose, get rid of them. They are harmfull and kill.

Abortion kills 1000 times more kids than guns, we should ban that too.

Lets include Bicycles and Playground equipment, more kids have died to that than guns.

HELL Lets legislate Bubbles for all the kids. That way we keep em safe and sound.

And since you want to remove Rights guaranteed by the constitution I want to start with your 1st amendment, I disagree with your use of it and want it banned right now.

Here Atheistically here is a statement from what must be your hero

The state must declare the children to be the most precious treasure of the people. As long as the government is perceived as working for the benefit of the children, the people will happily endure almost any curtailment of liberty and almost any deprivation

What is an assault weapon. Not what your spoon fed media tells you what it is, but what the real definition is?

Just a hint it involves burst fire and full auto. Hint 2 those are already banned unless you have a very special license that take up to a year to get.

Question 2, the 2nd amendment which shall not be infringed, is only for hunting in your mind I bet, Is that true or false. What was the real reason behind the founding fathers putting in the 2nd.

    how sad
what sort of human being would ever hope for harm, death, and destruction on other human beings? And also a "whack job" with a 6 shooter revolver or two and a pump action shotgun can do vast damage to a unarmed group of innocents.....that's why this assault weapons ban is such a waste of time. Why not just go for broke and ban all firearms? Might just as well enlist the army to confiscate all privately owned firearms. This is the only way we can protect ourselves from........ourselves.
