Obama's stand on gay marriage IS NOW FULLY EVOLVED!

The president's stand on gay marriage is now fully evolved! After languishing in the primordial ooze for several years, it learned to walk on all fours, and finally stood upright.

And the consensus seems to be this ranks somewhere between the Pope apologizing to Galileo and FDR popularizing the hot dog. But let's remember, he also said he doesn't think this is a federal issue.

"I continue to believe this is an issue that is going to be worked out at the local level," said Obama.

And he doesn't condemn well-meaning people who see it differently.

"Many of them are not coming at it from mean-spirited perspective, a bunch of them are friends of mine."

In short, he was simply expressing a personal belief.

"For me personally, it is important for me to go ahead and affirm."

It's just your personal belief. We get it. But what we really want to know from our politicians is, how much more freedom are you planning to take away from us? Which is why this debate is so strange. Because this is the one issue that's become controversial because people think it expands freedom too much!

So I'll be curious to see if any other politicians evolve. Like those politicians who consider the government unfit to control health care, but who think it is fit to control consensual human love.

As was pointed out by several commentators, North Carolina is a state that will let you marry your heterosexual first cousin and have kids together, but which prohibits a non-reproductive marriage with your gay cousin.

A position like that is not only not evolved, it's not even Intelligently Designed!

    I don't even know the guys name. Anyway, I may listen for maybe a minute maybe once a week just before Dori (my man) and the channel is changed but I read his ridiculous comments and react. I have to see how the enemy thinks and yes, it is worse and as perverted as usual! No facts or talk about anything that is really relevance or substance.

    Our government's purpose isn't to decide which personal relationships are acceptable, and which to reward or penalize. Just get rid of the word "marriage" and recognize one thing: civil union. Regardless of race, religion, or sex. End of story. The government has no need to involve itself in personal relationships.

    Whining? Some class? Ha ha! Are you for real?

    You on the left see it just as plain as the rest of us. Your Dear Leader is not fairing well at all. The Dear Leader should have something like 60 to 40 percent lead over the generic Republican. What is he, 48 49 percent? And many polls much lower. How is that economy? Gas prices. Obama owns this. We Americans know this and feel this.

    I will ask you of your plans post Obama regime. You'd better be figuring that out now while you still have time. Or not!

    November the 9th will get here quickly!

    He used to be for gay marriage, then he was against it, now he's for it again. If it were Bush you'd say that was flip, flop, flip again...for Obama you say evolve...so part of his evolution was to be against gay marriage...so how can you tell he's at his finishing point now?

    I think this is almost a foregone conclusion. Don't you?

    Obama no longer wants to be the Supreme Leader of the Left in this nation? I don't think so! I think that they are setting up for, preparing for, a loss and a big one this November.

    All this bluster and BS aside, how is that ObamaEconomy doing? This will be the big issue, perhaps the only issue, this November.

    The liberal mind is a twisted and curious thing. How one cannot see the difference between gay and hetero marriage and why one is favored and one is not is beyond me. Oh and Dave, its the liberals taking freedoms. Even this week proves it. They are banning bake sales in Massachusetts for the good of our health. We are all just hopeless idiots to them. We do not deserve the freedom to take care of ourselves.

    Obama shows once again that there is no issue to which he will not pander to help him get reelected! I just love the word "evolution" as liberals define it. To them, it means you have come to agree with THEIR point of view, which of course is the only "right" way to believe! This is similar to the word "change", which to liberals means almost the same thing, whether by choice or legislative force. Any traditional belief system is considered "bad" and "outdated", even racist.
