In the summer of 2011, only four ferry runs were canceled because they didn't have enough staff, but in the past four months, KING-5 has found 58 runs have been canceled.
A lot people believe it's because ferry workers are upset they had to take a 3 percent pay cut, so they're not answering their phones to come to work or they're just ditching.
The captains have apparently reminded workers that they have to show up for work and answer their phones.
Really? Are these 8-year-olds, these state workers? They need to be reminded to show up for work?
