Dori Monson

Bonneville Seattle is raising funds for the construction of a second Fisher House at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Tacoma and we need your help.

Why the Seattle City Council is evil

Dori is furious that the Seattle City Council would rather keep issuing parking tickets rather than implement a system that lets us pay with our smartphones, which could prevent us from getting fined.

Shouldn't the council be there to serve us and make our lives easier?

....And Dori would scream about how stupid the city council is if his 'desire' for mobile pay didn't work right...
Dori - you're getting pretty pathetic. You complain if they do something, you complain if they don't do the very same thing AND you complain if what you demanded they do ends up not working as expected.... They could proclaim a sunny day as a sunny day - you'd complain that they didn't proclaim it rainy and then you'd complain that they were at fault for it not being sunny enough. You've become no better than them Dori. No better than them. Except you don't have the brass to try to get elected.

    Evil?
Could we label it (in your opinion) misguided?

So (in my opinion) you are a fat, balding a$hole.

    Otherwise I'd label you misguided.

I'll have to agree with Dori.
His message didn't necessarily have to be put the way it was, but it was the right one. The council shouldn't be trying to make it so people get tickets. The meters are there to have you pay for time to park and to get people to do their business and then leave. If you need more time then you pay more. For the council to make it so you are at risk to have to pay a fine is wrong. The practice, in my opinion, is tantamount to entrapment. It's like posting a lower speed limit sign that can't be seen but yet writing tickets to people for speeding.

@froggy - so the way it's been since parking meters were created is wrong?
    Wow. Who'd of thought it?

    Parking meters aren't parking lots
parking meters were never intended to be used for unlimited time. the point of the meter is that you HAVE TO come back after 2 hours or whatever to feed the meter or move your car. doing this will just mean that there is even less turnover in spaces and it will be even harder to find a place to park. If you want to park somewhere for 3-4 hours, grab a spot in a lot.
