Don't let the election results steal your happiness

The days of speculation are over. Tuesday night has come and gone and reminded us that in an election, there are winners and losers. But don't be hurt if your guy or gal didn't come out the winner.

Dori is still smiling, and his pick for president didn't win - and it's likely his pick for governor won't win either.

When it came to Dori's like-minded friends however, he said many became despondent.

"I'm deeply invested and I care about the outcome," said Dori. Still, even though his picks weren't winners, instead of falling into a depression, he is remembering all of his blessings in life.

Likewise, he doesn't understand the gloaters. Receiving D-Mails from some listeners bragging about how Obama won or that Inslee is in the lead rubs Dori the wrong way.

"Like I'm going to feel even worse if they send me a nasty email? I don't care! I'm going to to keep living my life. I have a lot of blessings in life."

    I feel better already
I think you're right and agree with your points on your show most of the time. Today I enjoy countless blessings and am very thankful that those who have gone before me that made sacrifices so that I can have the quality of life that I do. I too am passionate, as you put it, because the gubmint is seemingly going to take those opportunities away from my kids and their kids. It is hard to overcome the sickness I feel for this once great country. History shows the collapse of other great civilizations, but I just didn't think it would happen in my time. Live for today and enjoy the moment.

Good- you got that out of the way so now you can complain about what is not going to bother you for the next four years.

Who has time to worry about being happy?
This is the much prophesized 'zombie apocolypse' happening right now. Not quite like a video game or a movie and slower paced, but just as effective.

    Yep, life is short
I have been blessed with good luck, good family & friends and great fortune. I have enough resources and to survive comfortably along with my kids and eventually their kids for decades. I have nothing but good will and best wishes for ALL we fellow Americans regardless of political affiliation. I owe much of my happiness to my great grand parents, who, made the brave and wise choice to immigrate to this great country over 100 years ago. Life is GOOD! Hopefully, Obama wont wreck everything in the next 4 years...LOL!

    It didn't steal my happiness...
Didn't matter much to me whether it was bankster candidate A or B. Same difference...

Although I did have to spend the night being consoler in chief to several friends. Phone was ringing off the hook, lol...

    p.s. Alyssa is a cutie. ;-)

    @ roomtemp
    You disappoint me!

Referring to Romney and Obama as "bankster candidate"(s) is giving them WAY too much credit (NPI) and validation.

I mistook you for being more moderate than that... ;-)

    An "Unaccountable" Obama.
Now that the Dear Leader no longer has the constraints of having to be re immaculated he can be more flexible. Flexible with whom?

I will predict that in 2014 we will see a sweep of the Senate because Obama, with the overwhelming support of the left wing media, will have no reason, nobody to stop him, from attempting to implement the remainder of his socialist Obama agenda. I also predict that a lot of Obama supports will tire of this or simply go broke under this ObamaEconomy and need something different.

    Like a job!

Dude, you may want to lay off the predictions for awhile, or at least find a different source for your information.

All the talk and predictions about a Romney win over the last year+ kind of hurts your credibility wouldn't you agree?
