Why does 'Elmo' get a free pass?

Kevin Clash, or the voice of Elmo, is off the hook for sexual abuse now that the accuser recanted his claim. Sure, the damage is done, but already people are saying that it's OK because the victim was 18-years-old at the time, not the previously reported 16-years-old.

Wait? So what about Courtney Stodden and Doug Hutchison. He married her when she was only 16 and is still getting tons grief. How are the two different? Does Doug need a puppet?

    if he promotes homosexuality then it's okay because ultimately the next step is following ancient cultures with child adult sexuality for the purpose of maturity sexually.

    Dori's throwing a phony fit here and ignoring a very real fact in his desire to try to quietly point out hypocracy. The problem is that all he's done is expose his own (and some commentor's) hypocracy. 'Elmo' (Kevin Clash) was Falsely accused of a very nasty crime (child rape). Courtney Stodden and Doug Hutchison married. There's no 'false accusation'. It's a fact that he married someone so young. THAT is why 'Elmo' is no longer being attacked. But that kind of 'nuance' is clearly lost on both Dori and you.

    I agree go back to your hard hitting stories like-..cook a turkey, whining about working, spouse a hot body, Dori's cupcake factory, fighter Jones, Seattle freeze or wife calls. Continue to jump on the stories the main stream media ignores--the real question is why Dori gets a free pass.

    Elmo is a member of Big Birds inner circle and we all know who Big Bird works for. This story had to be held until after the election and then go away fast and furiously!
