It's turkey fry day!

It's officially time for Sheriff John Lovick's world-famous, mouth-watering deep-fried turkeys.

Ten turkeys have been auctioned off for at least $250 each and all the money goes to charity: Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County and FareStart.

Lovick start frying this morning at 7:50 a.m. and the smell is wafting through the Eastlake neighborhood. He's cooking each bird in a vat of oil that's about 350 degrees. They take about an hour to do.

Turkey auction winners are scheduled to pick up their birds throughout the day. 'Can't wait to taste some deep-fried turkey.
