Are these parents overreacting to a dolphin biting their child?

Parents of 8-year-old Jillian Thomas were concerned when a dolphin jumped up and snagged a carton of fish from their daughter's hand, leaving bite marks.

Their daughter, on the other hand, was more concerned for the dolphin, which ate a paper carton whole.

Now the parents have been making the news as they blame SeaWorld for the bite, even appearing on Fox News. However, SeaWorld says they warn adults and children that dolphins are wild animals and can be unpredictable.

In other fish news, a girl freaked out when whales swam past her family's canoe. The episode produced a hilarious contrast between her fear of the gentle giant and amazement at the little sucker fishes following it.

Quote from the mother: "We're not going to show it to anybody".

You lied to your daughter mumsy.

Your whole intention would appear to be show it to as many people as humanly possible and get them into your corner for the inevitable lawsuit.

    Idiot Parents
Wow, fail to supervise your child and ruin it for everyone else that wants to feed the dolphins. Nice to see the parents so concerned for their baby's health that they immediately sought out first aid. Oh wait, they had to make sure they got all the evidence for their lawsuit on video. What a couple of Idiots. The next time we want to see a Dolphin attraction it will be behind a glass cage 20 feet away. Pick me to be on the jury.

    Loser Parents
Hold your hand out honey so we can get it on video and sue the crap out of SeaWorld. No worse than a dog bite and what do you expect holding the food in the air, looking the other way while a hungry dolphin is bobbing about. Liar mother also, "we won't show it to anyone, we will just put it on You Tube and disable the Comments section because we don't want anyone telling us what pieces of crap idiots they are. Better put that dolphin down, it's a menace to us humans.
