City of Seattle to spend tax money on gay employees

Dori doesn't understand why Seattle's mayor gets to do whatever he wants, just using taxpayer money to pay gay city employees because he disagrees with the federal law.

Really?

If there's a City of Seattle law that Dori thinks is unfair, would he let Dori circumvent it or expect him to abide by the laws?

    I don't understand why the money is being awarded--or where it came from? Was there thousands of dollars just sitting there in county coffers for just this reason?

    I am beginning to understand why when friends get in my car and hear the radio is on KIRO, they look at me in horror, will ask "REALLY?", and one even commented "Does Dori still wear his "sheet and hood" to work?"...I never took Dori as "one of them" but now I'm beginning to wonder....why does this bother him so much? I know he despises the Mayor, but this seems like "media overkill" in order to hype ratings for such a "non-story"....Lighten Up, Dori!!

    How much is the City gifting to Illegal Aliens? Through housing and social services? Is the City, County or State actually verifying eligibility of those recieving benefits? Or do they simply turn a blind eye to those they know are not here legally and dole out the public money?
